Last week I featured Elvis meeting Richard Nixon wearing Nudie, and this week I feature Clayton Moore, the Lone Ranger meeting the president wearing Nudie.
I always wondered what was happening in the photo. It looks like some weird drug deal, except I think those are postage stamps being exchanged. Clayton Moore signed this photo to Nudie "You're the Greatest" and dated it 1969. I'm not sure how many Lone Ranger outfits Nudie made for the masked man, but from the opening of the Lone Ranger you can see that they took quite a bit of abuse in the form of dirt, dust, and sweat.
